Oceanside Skydive Video
What better way to remember your Oceanside skydive than to re-live it again and again with friends and family. Your Oceanside Skydiving video will tell the story of your first jump from start to finish. Any moment you want to see again can be captured and set to music for the occasion. Generally, your video package will include a 5-7 minute dvd. Depending on your Oceanside Skydiving vendor of choice, you may be complimented with still photos of your Oceanside skydive experience.
Should I give advance notice?
The more advance notice you give, the more likely we will be able to reserve the best time for your Oceanside skydive.
We need to schedule staff to meet your needs, and the advance notice allows us to better serve you.
Can I take my own camera with me?
You are encouraged to bring your own camera with you and take pictures during your Oceanside Skydiving network training, however, you will be too busy with your Oceanside skydive to look after your camera during the jump. It might be lost or broken, and we find it's better to leave all the video and photgraphy up to the Oceanside Skydiving network professional videographers. After all, while traveling at 120 mph at 2 miles above the Earth, you will have enough distractions!
Can I have my friends take video or photos?
Of course they can! They will be able to take pictures of you under canopy and during your landing. They will also be able to take close-ups of you after your Oceanside skydive.
Can the cameraman film two or more people?
Unfortunately, the time/distance gap between exits precludes a cameraman from being able to film more than one student per jump. When the first skydiver jumps out of the plane, his speed increases dramatically. After a short time, he is traveling too fast for someone to catch up. If someone, say a videographer, were to jump out of the plane with the first skydiver, anyone who jumps out after him will be too far behind. Trying to film both would make the second look like an ant in the background. Without the close shots in air, the video doesn't have the personal feel that can showcase what the experience was like.
